Parents or coaches upload match footage directly to the web dashboard. During upload, you supply match details (teams, game date, keeper jersey number, and jersey color). Once uploads finish, our serverless pipeline processes the videos using Google Vertex AI (Gemini 2.5 Flash). The AI identifies the keeper, tracks their actions, and outputs a complete match report card within 5 hours.
Goalkeepers are typically the most underserved players on the pitch, often receiving vague instructions or general shot practices. Private coaching is incredibly expensive ($100–$200/hr). MyKeeperCoach provides elite-level, data-verified match reviews at a fraction of the cost, ensuring no goalkeeper is ever an afterthought again.
Clips upload directly from your browser to Firebase Storage. A secure background Cloud Function triggers automatically, using the direct Google Cloud Storage URIs (GCS links) to feed Vertex AI. Gemini parses the video files, writes structured JSON evaluations back to Firestore, and alerts you when your report card is ready.
By processing videos directly in the cloud, we don't drain your phone's battery or memory. The serverless framework enables rapid parallel processing, meaning we can scale capacity instantly during tournament weekends and guarantee unbiased, objective evaluations.
Upload files from a single match together in one batch. The limits are:
Serverless Cloud Functions have strict environment constraints (a maximum 9-minute/540s execution timeout and 1GiB memory cap). Enforcing these file limits ensures that the AI analysis can complete reliably without timing out or failing mid-process, protecting your session data.
For best results:
The AI calculates distance, angles, and keeper depth relative to the goal line. Constant framing from behind the net provides the geometric consistency needed for accurate positioning metrics. Proper jersey details prevent the AI from mistaking defenders or the opposing goalkeeper for your keeper.
When you start an upload:
Mobile and desktop OS environments aggressively terminate background network transfers in browser tabs to save battery. Screen Wake Lock keeps your device active, while Auto-Pause prevents browser tab termination, ensuring large video files finish uploading even on unstable connections.
Every match is graded across 6 core goalkeeper pillars (rated 0–10):
Standardizing performance metrics across these 6 pillars provides a clear roadmap for development. Rather than tracking unhelpful team statistics like conceded goals (which depend heavily on defender performance), keepers track their own physical growth in the areas they control.
The Skill Radar is a visual spider chart on your dashboard. Use the dropdown context menu to filter averages across:
A radar chart makes multi-dimensional performance patterns obvious at a glance. Seeing your skills mapped out helps you spot developmental imbalances (e.g., strong shot-stopping but lagging cross management) so you can plan your next training sessions objectively.
The Trends tab displays a line graph of your historical ratings.
Goalkeeping requires consistency. Looking at single-game data can be discouraging after a loss. The Trends tab tracks your long-term curve, proving that focused practice pays off and giving you visual indicators of growth over time.
The Scouting Sheet is a verified recruitment profile. It is unlocked for **Coach Pro, Elite, or Club** subscribers once the keeper completes **5 analyzed matches**. The sheet automatically calculates star ratings (0–5 stars), aggregates saves, calculates clean sheets, list strengths, and generates a shareable public link.
Scouts and college coaches receive hundreds of highlight reels daily but are naturally skeptical of edited tapes that hide mistakes. By anchoring your scouting profile in 5+ games of objective, AI-verified performance data, you build immediate credibility and present a trusted evaluation that scouts respect.
The Trajectory indicator appears on your Scouting Sheet. It runs a linear regression on your match scores over your past 5 sessions. If your average scores are increasing, your trajectory is labeled **Upward**. If they are stable, it is labeled **Steady**.
Recruiters look for developmental curves, coachability, and momentum. A goalkeeper showing a strong upward trajectory indicates a high rate of learning and dedication, making them a highly attractive prospect for college rosters.
You can toggle the **Recruiting Directory Opt-In** switch under your Scouting Sheet.
We believe in absolute safety and privacy, especially for youth athletes. Goalkeepers and parents retain total control over when their details are public. Opting in creates a direct recruitment channel, while opting out protects privacy during recovery or non-scouting periods.
When a recruiter messages you from the public directory, a notification appears under the **Recruiter Messages** tab in your dashboard, displaying a red badge with unread counts. You can open the panel to read and reply directly from the dashboard.
This centralizes communications and protects player privacy. Keepers do not have to share their personal email or phone number in early conversations, keeping contact safe, secure, and focused on soccer development.
Open the Scouting Sheet modal and navigate to the **Manage Highlights** tab. Here, you'll see a list of AI-generated timestamped clips. You can review clips, label them with specific tags (e.g., Shot Stopping, Distribution), and save them. You can attach up to 50 highlight clips directly to your public recruiting profile.
Stats tell a recruiter *what* you did, but video shows *how* you did it. Linking specific highlight clips directly to verified matches allows scouts to verify your metrics with raw game footage, reinforcing credibility.
Clip limits are dictated by your active subscription tier:
Longer, higher-quality clips require more cloud rendering power and storage. Elite and Club plans support 1080p outputs, allowing college scouts to clearly see fine mechanics, such as finger-tip touches or body shape, which are essential for evaluations.
Coach Ted is our interactive AI support widget in the bottom-right corner of the dashboard (available to logged-in users). Ted is equipped to:
Goalkeepers train at all hours of the day. Coach Ted provides immediate, 24/7 technical and tactical support, ensuring players can solve problems or get training advice instantly without waiting for a human email response.
If Coach Ted cannot resolve your issue, type "Open a ticket" or select the ticket creation option in the chat widget. Input your issue details, and our administrative dashboard will log the ticket for human follow-up via email.
We use a hybrid support system. AI handles routine troubleshooting, while sensitive account issues or billing details are handed off to human support to ensure your issues are resolved accurately and securely.
Tiers map directly to development needs. Starter allows parents to test the AI. Pro fits typical season schedules. Elite caters to high-school keepers seeking recruitment. Club plans give academies a cost-effective system to review all their keepers, ensuring they are never forgotten.
Navigate to your dashboard, click **Settings**, and select **Manage Subscription**. This opens a secure connection to the Stripe Customer Portal, where you can modify card details, download invoices, or cancel renewals.
We use Stripe's official portal to manage subscriptions. We never store credit cards on our servers, ensuring bank-grade PCI-compliance and protecting your financial data.
